Biography
Malcolm Amonoo is a freelance cinematographer, director, gaffer and photographer based in Cologne, Germany, with close to a decade of experience across commercial, documentary, music video and live broadcast production.

With close to ten years in the film and photography industry, Malcolm has built a career that spans nearly every role on set. He trained first in Ghana before continuing his education in Germany, giving him a broad, adaptable approach to storytelling and production that works across cultures and industries.
Malcolm is known for his versatility. He moves comfortably between being the Director of Photography on a commercial shoot, running lighting as a gaffer on a music video, operating camera for a live broadcast, or directing his own documentary work. This range gives clients one point of contact who understands the full production chain, from script to final image.
Trained first in Ghana and built a practical foundation across film, camera and production work.
Continued his education in Germany, shaping a cross-cultural approach to visual storytelling.
